Former President Barack Hussein Obama, whom some believe is the one actually running the Joe Biden Administration, has a long history of seeking policy advice from controversial investment manager Mohamed El-Erian, former co-chief investment officer of PIMCO (Pacific Investment Management Company, LLC).
Mohamed El-Erian was the chair of President Barack Obama’s Global Development Council.
Mohamed El-Erian was born in New York City to parents Abdullah El-Erian and Nadia Shoukry, and did not qualify for United States citizenship.
Mohamed El-Erian’s father Abdullah El-Erian was an Egyptian diplomat to The United Nations in New York and Egypt’s Ambassador to France and Switzerland, as well as a judge on the United Nations’ 15-member World Court, located in The Hague, Netherlands.
Mohamed El-Erian’s father reportedly died suddenly of a heart attack on December 12, 1981 at age 60 after being taken to Leiden Teaching Hospital, now part of Leiden University Medical Center in the Netherlands.
Former Arkansas Sen. Bill…Walters also was an attorney for Juanita Broaddrick during the investigation into President Bill Clinton’s dealings in Arkansas that eventually resulted in his impeachment trial. According to a February 1999 report by the Washington Post, Walters helped facilitate in November 1997 an agreement between Broaddrick and Clinton lawyers in which she denied Clinton sexually assaulted her in April 1978. Broaddrick would later reverse her denial.
[After Paula Jones’ lawyers’] private investigators visited Broaddrick on Nov. 13, 1997, her lawyer, Bill Walters, a Republican state senator, contacted a Clinton lawyer and asked for a draft affidavit for her to sign denying the “rumors and stories” about her and Clinton. “These allegations are untrue,” she said in the Jan. 2, 1998, affidavit, “and I had hoped that they would no longer haunt me or cause further disruption to my family.”
Mohamed El-Erian has also reportedly advised the government of Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabian Oil Group (ARAMCO) is a Saudi state-owned enterprise.
Reuters reported in 2019 that “Saudi Aramco, the world’s biggest oil producer, tapped Mohamed El-Erian, chief economic adviser at Allianz, as an informal adviser prior to the company’s roadshow for its first-ever debt offering, according to two sources.”
Seemingly flipping banking and capitalism on its head, Mohamed El-Erian shockingly declared during a March 13, 2023 interview on CNBC’s Squawkbox regarding the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank, “Well, we’ve changed the system. I think [former U.S. Treasury Department official under Presidents Carter and Clinton] Roger Altman was absolutely correct in saying we are now in a different world…Depositors should not worry. Your deposits are fine … It is almost impossible now to go back on unlimited deposit guarantee.”
“Well, we’ve changed the system” sounds a lot like the transformation of America that Barack Obama spoke of.

Hamid Dhia Jafar and Dr. Jafar Dhia Jafar are direct descendants of the Prophet Mohammad, according to the late Northcutt Ely, Hamid Dhia Jafar’s one-time attorney. The Al-Qasimi royal family that rules the emirates of Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) also claims to be descended from the Prophet Mohammad.

Tara Jaffar, according to her LinkedIn profile, was Associate Director of the Kevin Spacey Foundation in the UK and the UAE from 2014 to 2015, a timeframe that coincides with Project Pelican.
Tara Jaffar’s relative Jafar Dhia Jafar had his insider trading violation charges dismissed by the Securities and Exchange Commission under the Obama Administration. UAE Ports Form Alliance With Communist China
Not only is Al-Qasimi and the Iraqi Jafar brothers’ Gulftainer in business with ROSOBORONEXPORT, the Russian enterprise that exports the Trojan Horse Club-K Container Missile System, the UAE has integrated its ports industry with Communist China.
As part of Communist China’s One Belt, One Road infrastructure project that aims to rebuild China’s ancient Silk Road trading route, five Chinese firms have invested $300 million in the UAE’s Abu Dhabi Ports.
“This is not the first time China and the UAE have collaborated. In 2015, the two countries established a joint investment fund worth $10 billion,” CNBC reported.
Was The Gulftainer Lease Legal Then, And Is It Legal Now?
The American Report learned from a confidential source that the Gulftainer ownership split between Hamid Dhia Jafar and Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi was 50-50 at the time of Gulftainer’s Port Canaveral lease application.
Because of Gulftainer’s fraudulent application and the false information contained therein, the agreement was not in compliance with U.S. law and therefore became null and void under CFIUS.
The approval process for foreign governments to buy or lease critical infrastructure in the United States that is vital to the nation’s economic stability and national security was overhauled in the Foreign Investment Risk Review Modernization Act of 2018 (FIRRMA) that President Trump signed into law as part of the 2019 NDAA: “The new law brings expanded oversight over previously uncovered transactions, including minority stakes and other non-controlling investments. It expands CFIUS jurisdiction over real estate transactions including leases near sensitive locations,” according to The National Law Journal.
Congressman Duncan Hunter, Marine Corps Major Who Fought In Iraq, Stood Up To Gulftainer And The Deep State, Then Paid The Price
California Republican Congressman Duncan D. Hunter served as a U.S. Marine Corps artillery officer during two tours in Iraq and another tour in Afghanistan. Major Hunter fought in Fallujah, encountered frequent ambushes, and still struggles with the effects of his extended combat tours, although he says that he “never filed for post-traumatic stress. It’s not an issue.”
Duncan Hunter is the only official who stood up to Gulftainer’s Port Canaveral deal. While Senators were engaged in insider trading, and FBI Directors were lying under oath, enacting a seditious coup d’état and hoax Russian collusion investigation, and redistributing America to her adversaries, Duncan Hunter was the one and only official who stood up for America.

It was as if Walsh was channelling the ghost of Leon Trotsky himself, spewing Trotsky’s tired old communist talking point — “racism, racism, racism.”
Yet, top national security officials did not buy into the politically correct talking points. Those officials had deep concerns about Gulftainer’s 35-year lease at Port Canaveral. The American Report met with some of those officials.
The abruptly-announced deal between Gulftainer and Port Canaveral immediately became a lightning rod for criticism due to real and serious national security concerns.
To deflect those objections, Port Canaveral CEO Walsh employed the Obama administration’s standard talking point: “We can’t be racist.”

Gulftainer’s exclusive arrangement with Port Canaveral was negotiated in secret under the code name ‘Project Pelican.’
The 35-year lease grants Gulftainer exclusive rights to operate an intermodal container terminal inside Port Canaveral, near sensitive Department of Defense and NASA installations.

The connections between the wealthy UAE family that owns Gulftainer and former President Bill Clinton and his associate Jack Lew appear to have remained undetected last summer, despite the availability of information from open-source documents and websites.
Treasury Secretary Lew eventually rubber-stamped the controversial Gulftainer deal with no national security oversight or review.
Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-CA) of the House Armed Services Committee opposed the Gulftainer lease on national security grounds. Rep. Hunter expressed his concerns about Gulftainer in a letter to Secretary Lew, to no avail.
Hunter’s Chief of Staff Joe Kasper also commented today to 1776 Channel about the absence of a Gulftainer – Port Canaveral deal national security review:

Gulfainer USA (GT USA) is a unit of UAE’s privately-held intermodal container terminal operator Gulftainer, which in turn is a unit of Crescent Enterprises, part of the Crescent Group conglomerate.
The UAE’s Jafar family, which owns and controls both the Crescent Group and Gulftainer, has both direct and indirect connections to former President Clinton, a 1776 Channel investigation has discovered.
Two brothers, Majid Jafar and Badr Jafar, stand at the helm of the Jafar family business empire.
Majid Jafar, 38, is CEO of UAE-based Crescent Petroleum, the petroleum unit of the Crescent Group.
Badr Jafar, 35, is Managing Director of the Crescent Group, President of Crescent Petroleum and CEO of Crescent Enterprises, the parent of Gulftainer.
Majid co-Chairs, alongside former President Clinton, Business Backs Education, a United Nations UNESCO-run global educational campaign. The campaign is funded by the Varkey GEMS foundation, a contributor to the Clinton Global Initiative.

Majid Jafar met with former President Bill Clinton and other global leaders, including the Director-General of UNESCO , at the Global Education and Skills Forum, held in Dubai from March 15-17, 2014.
A group photograph taken during the forum provides key evidence that Crescent executive Majid Jafar not only served as co-Chair of the Business Backs Education campaign alongside former President Bill Clinton, but also physically stood next to former President Clinton at a time when Gulftainer was secretly seeking to establish operations at Port Canaveral. That deal would soon require approval from Clinton’s long-time friend, Treasury Secretary Jack Lew.
“It has been my honor to know Jack, his wife and his family for a long time now” Bill Clinton told an audience at the Clinton Global Initiative’s CGI America 2013 conference in Chicago. Clinton interviewed Secretary Lew on stage during that event.
Treasury Secretary Lew granted approval to the Port Canaveral Gulftainer deal, without a national security review, on September 26, 2014, almost exactly six months after Bill Clinton and Crescent Petroleum CEO Majid Jafar stood on stage together at the Global Education & Skills Forum 2014 in Dubai.
American Shipper announced that “in an e-mail to American Shipper, Canaveral Port Director John Walsh said he has been notified by the Treasury Department that the concession agreement with Gulftainer is considered a simple lease, not an asset sale, and does not warrant further review on national security grounds.”
The question is, did Bill Clinton engage the Jafars/Crescent in quid pro quo skid-greasing to ram the Gulftainer deal through the U.S. Treasury Department in exchange for the Clinton’s favorite commodity: cash?
The Clintons have a history of accepting money in the UAE.

It is an established fact that Bill and Hillary Clinton have demonstrated little to no interest in protecting U.S. national security. The reality is quite the opposite, in fact.
Helping Arab companies trying to get an initial toehold on a U.S. port is not a new phenomenon for Bill Clinton either. “Bill Clinton helped Dubai on ports deal” headlined the Financial Times in 2006.
Badr Jafar reportedly dated supermodel Naomi Campbell from 2005 until 2006 according to the New York Daily News.
Campbell was romantically linked to Bill Clinton in 2002 by the London Evening Standard, citing a report from the New York Post, although Campbell’s representatives denied the allegations.
Campbell reportedly flew aboard now-convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s aircraft with President Clinton in 2002, according to flight logs.
Handing over a critically sensitive, strategically important port that plays an integral role in America’s national security infrastructure, that is laden with military and government installations, to a foreign entity, is an invitation to terrorism.
