Trains, Toxins, and Government Lies: Norfolk Southern’s ‘32 Nasty’ And ‘Pothole Pete’ Buttigieg

The environmentally disastrous February 3, 2023 derailment in East Palestine, Ohio of Norfolk Southern train 32N, transporting rail tanker cars filled with dangerous chemicals, has been compared to the 1986 Chernobyl radiation disaster in the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic.

Both the “controlled” burn of the derailed tanker cars and the chemicals they spilled in East Palestine and the massive radiation leak at Chernobyl were man-made environmental catastrophes capable of causing cancer and death among both humans and wildlife.

Ultimately, responsibility for the Chernobyl disaster lies at the feet of Soviet officials who controlled the nuclear plant and launched an immediate cover up, and responsibility for the East Palestine disaster lies at the feet of the federal officials who regulate U.S. railroads: President Joe Biden and Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg.

Responsibility for the East Palestine derailment environmental catastrophe also lies with Norfolk Southern, which adopted a controversial cost-cutting operational strategy known as precision scheduled railroading (PSR). The biggest Norfolk Southern shareholders are Vanguard Group, JP Morgan Investment Management, and Blackrock Fund Advisors.

Motherboard Tech by Vice reported on February 15, 2023:

Motherboard has been reporting on the freight rail industry for two years, during which time we have interviewed dozens of Norfolk Southern employees across the company’s service area about how a change in management philosophy has made working conditions worse and jeopardized safety in exchange for supposed gains in efficiency…

…In the past week, Motherboard has also interviewed two workers with direct knowledge of 32N. Those two workers have provided additional details about 32N included in this story that shed light on the train’s reputation in the months before its derailment. Motherboard also reviewed  documents showing details of the train’s weight distribution by car and broken down by sections of the train. As with previous reporting on the freight rail industry, Motherboard is not revealing the names of those workers because they are fearful of retribution for speaking publicly.

For years, Norfolk Southern, like several other major freight rail companies, has prioritized moving trains as quickly as possible out of terminals and rail yards over safety as part of a wider move across the freight railroad industry towards a management philosophy called Precision Scheduled Railroading (PSR) intended to move more freight for lower costs. Safety inspection times and personnel have been slashed, hindering efforts to ensure trains are safe before they leave yards or terminals. Crews are dissuaded from reporting safety issues. Workers that persist in raising red flags are often ignored.

Over the past several years, Motherboard has reported that Norfolk Southern’s lax safety practices have been applied to its entire network, reflecting a trend happening across the freight rail industry. But the two workers Motherboard spoke to this week said 32N in particular was a known safety risk. Like airline flight numbers, railroads assign the same train number to different physical trains that run the same routes on a repetitive schedule. 32N, which travels from outside St. Louis to the edge of Pittsburgh, has a reputation.

On the run that ended abruptly on the outskirts of East Palestine, multiple red flags, including two mechanical problems, about 32N went undetected or were ignored in the hours leading up to the crash, according to the two workers familiar with the train. These red flags were especially concerning, said these workers, because 32N is widely known among workers as a difficult train to run, not because of especially difficult terrain or equipment, but as a result of management decisions about how the train would be put together.

As a result, 32N has a nickname among some rail workers. It is common for trains to have nicknames in the railroad industry, but, as one worker told Motherboard, the nicknames are given “for a reason.” They call this one “32 Nasty.”

Buttigieg possessed no significant transportation sector experience when Biden nominated him to the federal government’s highest transportation cabinet position, and has maintained a cavalier and disinterested attitude concerning the East Palestine train disaster throughout the nearly three week period since the derailment that initiated the environmental disaster.

Fox News reported:

President-elect Joe Biden tapped Pete Buttigieg to serve as transportation secretary, but as leader of South Bend, Ind. the former mayor had a pothole problem.

The 38-year-old served as mayor from 2012 to 2020, as he forayed into national politics in the Democratic primary.

But in 2019, the South Bend Tribune reported that many residents felt the city had the ”worst pothole situation in the state.”

According to Transportation Nation:

As news of Buttigieg’s likely nomination [for Department of Transportation Secretary] broke on Tuesday, questions surrounding his lack of qualifications to lead such a massive bureaucracy quickly surfaced.

In response, Buttigieg said he has a “personal love of transportation” which he developed as a child and later strengthened during his college years.

Specifically, he mentioned that during his time at Harvard College he would travel back to his home in Indiana by Amtrak and referred to himself as a “train enthusiast.”

He also pointed to the fact he proposed to his husband at an airport.

Pete Buttigieg’s father Joseph Buttigieg was born in Malta and translated the “Prison Diaries,” written by Italian Marxist Antonio Gramsci.

An institute was established in Frankfurt, Germany to study Marxism’s cultural aspects. It absorbed Antonio Gramsci’s theories suggesting that “cultural hegemony” should surpass class struggle as the preferred pathway to proletariat power. Deadly Toxins Released During ‘Controlled Burn’ At Crash Site Of Norfolk Southern Train Derailment In East Palestine, Indiana

While staying largely silent on the East Palestine toxic train catastrophe, Transportation Secretary Buttigieg did find time to complain that “often a neighborhood of color that finally sees the project come to them but everyone in the hardhats on that project looking like, you know, doing — doing the good paying jobs don’t look like they came from anywhere near the neighborhood.”

ABC News reported in a February 13, 2023 article titled “There were more toxic chemicals on train that derailed in Ohio than originally reported, data shows”:

State health officials were initially concerned about the presence of vinyl chloride, a highly volatile colorless gas produced for commercial uses, which spilled after about 50 cars on a Norfolk Southern Railroad train derailed in East Palestine, Ohio, on Feb. 3 while traveling from Illinois to Pennsylvania. Other toxins, like phosgene and hydrogen chloride, were emitted in large plumes of smoke during a controlled release and burn, prompting officials to issue mandatory evacuation orders in a one-mile radius of the crash site.

A list of the cars that were involved in the derailment and the products they were carrying released by Norfolk Southern reveal several more toxic chemicals that were released into the air and soil following the crash.

A Norfolk Southern train derail PDF document posted on the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)’s website reveals that the status of four tank cars, IDs ILX 402025 (line #28), OCPX 80235 (line #29), OCPX 80179 (line #30), and OCPX 80370 (line #55), all DOT 105J300W tank cars hauling stabilized vinyl chloride, UN ID 1086, a flammable gas, is “car did not leak/cars vent product through the PRD [Pressure Release Device] and ignited/vent and burn performed.”

The status of one more tank car GATX 95098, (line #31), another DOT 105J300W tank car hauling stabilized vinyl chloride, is “vent product through the PRD [Pressure Release Device] and ignited/vent and burn.”

The UN [United Nations] Identification Number for vinyl chloride, stabilized, is 1086.

According to SafeRack:

Located on the back or sides of trailers or other containers, UN numbers (or UN IDs) are four-digit numbers ranging from 0004-3534 that identify dangerous goods or hazardous substances — such as explosives, flammable liquids, or toxic substances — in the framework of international transport.

These numbers are assigned by the United Nations (UN) Committee of Experts on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, and must be listed on the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) of each shipment.

According to federal regulations, each freight container, railcar, transport vehicle, or other vessel carrying hazardous materials must display placards on each side and each end. Regulations also state that placards on railcars and transport vehicles must be clearly visible from the direction they face unless they are obscured when coupled with another railcar or transport vehicle.

“Vinyl chloride was released into the air Monday from five of those cars before crews ignited it to get rid of the highly flammable toxic chemicals in a controlled environment, creating a dark plume of smoke,” USA Today / The Associated Press reported on February 8, 2023.

“[Pennsylvania Governor Josh] Shapiro argued, the railway company [Norfolk Southern] provided inaccurate information about the effect of the controlled release of chemicals, and failed to update state and local officials on its plan to release vinyl chloride from all five cars carrying the chemical rather than just the one car it had originally identified,” Daily Mail reported.

“In a statement, Norfolk Southern said it was not attending Wednesday’s open house gathering [at a school gym in East Palestine] with local, state and federal officials because of a “growing physical threat to our employees and members of the community around this event,” the Associated Press reported on February 15, 2023.

“Chronic, low-level vinyl chloride exposure may cause angiosarcoma of the liver, an extremely rare form of cancer,” according to the U.S. Department Of Health & Human Services.

According to the Centers of Disease Control (CDC) Emergency Preparedness Response web page titled “Facts About Phosgene,” (archived here), “Phosgene was used extensively during World War I as a choking (pulmonary) agent. Among the chemicals used in the war, phosgene was responsible for the large majority of deaths.”

CBS News reported:

Vinyl chloride is a known human carcinogen, according to the National Cancer Institute. The colorless manmade gas is used to make polyvinyl chloride, commonly referred to as PVC, a type of hard plastic resin. According to the Institute, the gas is linked to “an increased risk of a rare form of liver cancer” known as hepatic angiosarcoma. That type of cancer accounts for only 2% of liver tumors, and according to a 2018 journal publication, is “exceptionally deadly.” The average life expectancy for those who are diagnosed is just 10 months.

It is also linked to primary liver cancer, brain and lung cancers, lymphoma and leukemia…

…Five train cars were carrying this substance at the time of the accident, according to a report published by the EPA on Sunday. According to a 2006 publication by the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, the substance breaks down in the air within a few days, forming other chemicals such as hydrochloric acid, formaldehyde and carbon dioxide.

Officials were worried that the burn would lead to phosgene and hydrogen chloride in the air, the former of which is a “major industrial chemical” that is a poisonous gas at 70 degrees Fahrenheit and was “used extensively during World War I as a choking (pulmonary) agent,” according to the CDC.

“Among the chemicals used in the war, phosgene was responsible for the large majority of deaths,” the agency said.

Of note, the CDC created a PDF document called “Toxicological Profile of Vinyl Chloride, Draft for Public Comment on January 3, 2023, and updated that document on February 13, 2013.

According to a February 14, 2023 press release from the Buttigieg DOT’s National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) titled “Investigative Update on Ohio Train Derailment,” “NTSB is not involved in air monitoring, testing of water quality, environmental remediation or the evacuation orders … Questions on environmental issues should be referred to the Environmental Protection Agency”:

NTSB is conducting a safety investigation to determine the probable cause of the derailment and issue any safety recommendations, if necessary, to prevent future derailments. The NTSB can also issue urgent recommendations at any point during the investigation. All questions regarding the safety investigation should go to NTSB. While emergency response will be a factor in the investigation, NTSB is not involved in air monitoring, testing of water quality, environmental remediation or the evacuation orders. Parties to the NTSB investigation provide technical assistance. They include: U.S. Department of Transportation’s Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration and Federal Railroad Administration, Ohio State Highway Patrol, the Village of East Palestine, Norfolk Southern Railway, Trinity Industries Leasing Company, GATX Corporation, Brotherhood of Railway Carmen, International Association of Sheet Metal, Air, Rail and Transportation Workers and Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen…

…NTSB investigators have identified and examined the rail car that initiated the derailment. Surveillance video from a residence showed what appears to be a wheel bearing in the final stage of overheat failure moments before the derailment. The wheelset from the suspected railcar has been collected as evidence for metallurgical examination. The suspected overheated wheel bearing has been collected and will be examined by engineers from the NTSB Materials Laboratory in Washington, D.C.

“It was only the use of all gas that was outlawed by the Geneva Protocol of 1925,” BBC reported… “The Protocol itself makes the lofty statement that gas ‘has been justly condemned by the general opinion of the civilised world.’”

According to ChemEurope.com’s web page “Poison gas in World War I”:

The use of poison gas in World War I was a major military innovation. The gases ranged from disabling chemicals, such as tear gas and the severe mustard gas, to lethal agents like phosgene and chlorine. This chemical warfare was a major component of the first global war and first total war of the 20th century…

…Colorless and having an odor likened to “mouldy hay,” phosgene was difficult to detect, making it a more effective weapon…

…Phosgene was a potent killing agent, deadlier than chlorine. It had a potential drawback in that the symptoms of exposure took 24 hours or more to manifest, meaning that the victims were initially still capable of putting up a fight; although this could also mean that apparently fit troops would be incapacitated by the effects of the gas the following day…

…Death by gas was particularly horrific. According to Denis Winter (Death’s Men, 1978), a fatal dose of phosgene eventually led to “shallow breathing and retching, pulse up to 120, an ashen face and the discharge of four pints (2 liters) of yellow liquid from the lungs each hour for the 48 of the drowning spasms.”

Chinese Spy Balloons Fiasco: Are Biden, Austin, And Milley On China’s Side?

The Biden Administration’s decision to allow a Chinese spy balloon to traverse the United States on a leisurely tour of sensitive U.S. nuclear triad military bases and nuclear facilities is a huge red flag, suggesting that Biden, his Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley, are, at best, compromised by China, and at worst, have switched from holding their allegiance to the United States to holding their allegiance to the CCP and the PLA.

China Has No Respect For SECDEF Austin, Ignored Austin’s Balloon Phone Call, Threatened Austin With War Over Taiwan “No matter the cost”; General Milley Offered The Chinese Military Advance Warning Of Any Future U.S. Attack

One thing is abundantly clear: China has no respect for Austin.

According to the Associated Press:

Within hours of an Air Force F-22 downing a giant Chinese balloon that had crossed the United States, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin reached out to his Chinese counterpart via a special crisis line…But Austin’s effort Saturday fell flat, when Chinese Defense Minister Wei Fenghe declined to get on the line, the Pentagon says.

Not only did China walk all over Austin in the wake of the Chinese Spy Balloon fiasco and Biden’s one-week-too-late balloon shoot-down, but China also, only a few months earlier, reportedly threatened Austin to his face by declaring that “if anyone dares to split Taiwan from China, the Chinese army will definitely not hesitate to start a war no matter the cost.”

France 24 reported that in Singapore, during the November 2024 Shangri-La Dialogue security summit:

[China’s Defense Minister] Wei [Fenghe] warned Austin that “if anyone dares to split Taiwan from China, the Chinese army will definitely not hesitate to start a war no matter the cost”, according to Chinese officials.

He also vowed that Beijing would “smash to smithereens any ‘Taiwan independence’ plot and resolutely uphold the unification of the motherland”, according to the Chinese defence ministry.

During the Chinese spy balloon incident, Austin, like Biden, once again displayed weakness and capitulation, if not overt loyalty, toward China, just as Biden and Austin did during former’s disastrous U.S. military withdrawal from Afghanistan which left Taliban-ally China with tens of billions of dollars in U.S. military hardware.

Milley, on the other hand, in a now-infamous display of ultimate insubordination toward the President of the United States and America’s civilian-to-military chain of command, placed a hotline call to China’s chief of the Joint Staff Department of the Central Military Commission to offer America’s biggest adversary advance warning in the event that President Trump ordered a military attack against China.

And in a time of crisis, Milley knew he could dial up Russian General Valery Gerasimov or General Li Zuocheng of the People’s Liberation Army.

This was such a moment. While he often put a hold on or stopped various tactical and routine U.S. military exercises that could look provocative to the other side or be misinterpreted, this was not a time for just a hold. He arranged a call with General Li.

Trump was attacking China on the campaign trail at every turn, blaming them for the coronavirus. “I beat this crazy, horrible China virus,” he told Fox News on October 11. Milley knew the Chinese might not know where the politics ended and possible action began.

To give the call with Li a more routine flavor, Milley first raised mundane issues like the staff-to-staff communications and methods for making sure they could always rapidly reach each other.

Finally, getting to the point, Milley said, “General Li, I want to assure you that the American government is stable and everything is going to be okay. We are not going to attack or conduct any kinetic operations against you.

“General Li, you and I have known each other for now five years. If we’re going to attack, I’m going to call you ahead of time. It’s not going to be a surprise. It’s not going to be a bolt from out of the blue.

“If there was a war or some kind of kinetic action between the United States and China, there’s going to be a buildup, just like there has been always in history.

“And there’s going to be tension. And I’m going to be communicating with you pretty regularly,” Milley said. “So this is not one of those times. It’s going to be okay. We’re not going to have a fight.”

“Okay,” General Li said. “I take you at your word.”

According to Fox News:

Former acting Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller, who led the Pentagon from the period after the 2020 election through Inauguration Day, said that he “did not and would not ever authorize” Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley to have “secret” calls with his Chinese counterpart, describing the allegations as a “disgraceful and unprecedented act of insubordination,” and calling on him to resign “immediately.”

In a statement to Fox News, Miller said that the United States Armed Forces, from its inception, has “operated under the inviolable principle of civilian control of the military.”

President Trump’s former Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany told Fox News:

“My jaw dropped open today when I saw this reporting. I hope it’s not true because I don’t trust the reporting of Bob Woodward… I question it…but if this is true, that in the very Oval Office I was sitting in that General Milley was talking to the Commander In Chief President Trump and outside of those meetings was back-channeling to China saying ‘I’ll let you know if there is ever an attack on you,’ I’m paraphrasing there, if that was happening, that is aiding and abetting the enemy. There is a word we have for that, I won’t say it because I don’t want to get there yet because I don’t trust the reporting of Bob Woodward, but that is simply stunning in every sense of the word.”

USA Today reported:

Trump himself condemned Milley in an interview on Newsmax, calling the idea that he’d call for a nuclear strike on China “totally ridiculous.”

President Trump told his former Press Secretary Sean Spicer:

“So, first of all, if it is actually true, which is hard to believe, that he would have called China and done these things and was willing to advise them of an attack or in advance of an attack, that’s treason.”

Biden, Austin, And Milley Allowed Chinese Spy Balloon To Loiter Above And Near U.S. Nuclear Triad Bases

Biden, Austin, and Milley allowed a Chinese spy balloon to loiter above or near U.S. nuclear triad bases, including U.S Air Force Minuteman intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) fields in Montana and Missouri’s Whiteman Air Force Base, home to all twenty of the US Air Force’s B-2 Spirit stealth bombers.

The B2 Spirit is the only U.S. military aircraft currently configured to deliver the B-83 onto targets such as deep underground bases protecting leadership and unconventional weapons of China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea.

Biden is ensuring that while America’s enemies will be capable of striking U.S. nuclear triad bases, the U.S. won’t be able to counterstrike enemy nuclear command and control bases located deep underground.

Chinese Spy Balloon Also Could Have Been Executing Dry Run For An EMP Attack: USAF EMP Expert

Two former Chinese military Colonels wrote a book called “Unrestricted Warfare” in which they outline the use of multiple domains of asymmetric warfare, including information warfare, economic warfare, technological warfare, terrorism, biological warfare, lawfare, and cyberwarfare.

High-ranking retired U.S. military officers became alarmed that the Chinese balloon that Biden allowed inside the Continental United States (CONUS) was not only a sophisticated imagery and signals intelligence (SIGINT) surveillance airship, but also, potentially, a delivery platform for unrestricted warfare payloads including, but not limited to, chemical or biological weapons, swarms of tiny drones, and electromagnetic pulse (EMP) bombs.

EMP bombs could take down large swaths of the U.S. power grid and disrupt U.S. military command and control systems.

One possible scenario, the Washington Examiner wrote, is that China was conducting a “dry run” for future electromagnetic pulse (EMP) attacks on the United States:

High-altitude balloons, such as the one China has floated over mountain state military bases this week, are considered a key “delivery platform” for secret nuclear strikes on America’s electric grid, according to intelligence officials…

…The threat of balloon-launched electromagnetic pulse attacks was warned about by a congressional EMP commission and inside the military several years ago.

In a 2015 report for the American Leadership & Policy Foundation, Air Force Maj. David Stuckenberg, one of the nation’s leading EMP experts, wrote extensively about the threat balloons carrying bombs pose to national security…

…On Friday, he told Secrets, “China’s recent balloon flyover of the United States is clearly a provocative and aggressive act. It was most likely a type of dry run meant to send a strategic message to the USA. We must not take this for granted.”

Lieutenant General Michael Flynn, former Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) director and President Trump’s former national security adviser, replying to a tweet from General Robert Spalding, arrived at the same conclusion as Major Stuckenberg’s assessment — that Chinese balloons could be used as a delivery system of EMP weapons:

He was relieved as head of U.S. Africa Command after only a year and a half because he disagreed with orders not to mount a rescue mission in response to the Sept. 11, 2012, attack in Benghazi.

Rear Adm. Chuck Gaouette, commander of the John C. Stennis Carrier Strike Group, was relieved in October 2012 for disobeying orders when he sent his group on Sept. 11 to “assist and provide intelligence for” military forces ordered into action by Gen. Ham.

Other removals include the sacking of two nuclear commanders in a single week — Maj. Gen. Michael Carey, head of the 20th Air Force, responsible for the three wings that maintain control of the 450 intercontinental ballistic missiles, and Vice Adm. Tim Giardina, the No. 2 officer at U.S. Strategic Command.

From Breitbart.com’s Facebook page comes a list of at least 197 officers that have been relieved of duty by President Obama for a laundry list of reasons and sometimes with no reason given. Stated grounds range from “leaving blast doors on nukes open” to “loss of confidence in command ability” to “mishandling of funds” to “inappropriate relationships” to “gambling with counterfeit chips” to “inappropriate behavior” to “low morale in troops commanded.”

Nine senior commanding generals have been fired by the Obama administration this year, leading to speculation by active and retired members of the military that a purge of its commanders is under way.

Retired U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Paul Vallely, an outspoken critic of the Obama administration, notes how the White House fails to take action or investigate its own officials but finds it easy to fire military commanders “who have given their lives for their country.” Vallely thinks he knows why this purge is happening.

“Obama will not purge a civilian or political appointee because they have bought into Obama’s ideology,” Vallely said. “The White House protects their own. That’s why they stalled on the investigation into Fast and Furious, Benghazi and ObamaCare. He’s intentionally weakening and gutting our military, Pentagon and reducing us as a superpower, and anyone in the ranks who disagrees or speaks out is being purged.”

James Baker’s Bonanza Of Crime: General McInerney Calls For Former CIA Contractor Dennis Montgomery To Testify Under Oath Before Congress

U.S. Air Force Lieutenant General Thomas McInerney (Ret.) is calling for CIA contractor-turned-whistleblower Dennis Montgomery to testify before U.S. congress, while under oath, about HAMMER, SCORECARD, and former FBI General Counsel James Baker.

Baker was a key player in the hoax Trump Russian collusion operation, alongside FBI Director James Comey, FBI counterintelligence official Peter Strzok, FBI attorney Lisa Page, and attorney Michael Sussmann.

Sussmann was a partner at Perkins Coie, the Seattle law firm hired by the Hillary Clinton campaign and by the DNC.

Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives investigated DOJ documents showing that Baker, during the run up to the 2016 presidential election, was in touch with Mother Jones reporter David Corn, the first journalist to write about the existence of Steele Dossier. Predictably, “Corn denied that Baker was a source for his story on the dossier,” Politico reported.

Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson, husband of Mary Jacoby (previously of the Rose Law Firm, the same Little Rock, Arkansas practice that employed Hillary Clinton), helped Baker, Comey, Strzok, and Page orchestrate the Russian Collusion operation to take down President Trump in a failed attempted coup.

Strzok was never questioned under oath by Members of Congress about the text message he exchanged with Lisa Page that referenced Montgomery.

In the immediate wake of Taibbi’s disclosure that the FBI and Twitter censored The American Report’s HAMMER and SCORECARD reporting, a Twitter Spaces live conversation amongst Twitter influencers, including internet entrepreneur Kim Dotcom, ensued.

“If the U.S. government wants this to be removed there’s probably some truth to it. I mean, why else would they want to censor something that looks conspiratorial? … I’m going to do some reading about THE HAMMER,” Kim Dotcom stated during the Twitter Spaces conversation.

“FBI Director James Comey demanded that the FBI be given the source code to SCORECARD, the election-hacking application that operates on THE HAMMER surveillance supercomputer platform, as a condition of  CIA contractor-turned-whistleblower Dennis L. Montgomery’s 2015 FBI and DOJ immunity agreements, according to Montgomery,” The American Report previously reported.

Montgomery claims that he implanted a unique digital signature within the SCORECARD source code, that the same source code embedded with the unique digital signature subsequently emerged in China, and that China used SCORECARD in a cyberwarfare attack on the 2020 U.S. election.

Baker Claimed “Attorney-Client Privilege,” Refused To Answer Questions During February 8, 2023 House Oversight And Accountability Committee Hearing Into Twitter’s Censorship Of Hunter Biden Laptop Story

Baker, testifying under oath before the House Oversight and Accountability Committee on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 about Twitter blocking access to an October 2020 “New York Post” article about Hunter Biden’s so-called “laptop from hell,” said during his opening statement that “As the committee is aware, however, based on the advice of counsel, I believe in good faith that I am constrained today by my legal and ethical obligations as a former lawyer for Twitter, as well as by certain nondisclosure agreements.”

Later into the hearing, Baker responded to a question from U.S. Representative Jim Jordan (R-OH) by stating “Unfortunately, sir, I think I’m constrained from answering that question any more fully than in my testimony because of attorney-client privilege.”

Representative Jordan is well aware that James Baker possesses extensive first-hand knowledge about Dennis Montgomery’s claims that the U.S. government engaged in illegal domestic surveillance. Jordan also knows that Baker dispatched FBI special agents to the FBI Miami Field Office to take possession of 47 computer hard drives because James Baker testified before Representative Jordan while under oath that he was in receipt of testimony and data from Dennis Montgomery that “government officials had other government officials and Americans under illegal surveillance.”

The February 8, 2023 Twitter hearing was a perfect opportunity for Representative Jordan to ask Baker, under oath, about THE HAMMER, Dennis Montgomery, and Twitter’s suppression of The American Report’s October 31, 2020 article about HAMMER and SCORECARD. Yet, Jordan failed to seize on this rare opportunity to interrogate Baker about Montgomery and THE HAMMER on live television.

Former FBI counsel Baker, who was interviewed by a joint committee of the U.S. House of Representatives just weeks before the 2018 midterm election, stated during day one of his interview, conducted on October 3, 2018, that the FBI and the DOJ did not “infiltrate or surveil” the Trump campaign for “political purposes.”

Baker simultaneously denied on day one that Obama administration officials made “demands or requests” of the FBI and the DOJ to “infiltrate or surveil” the Trump campaign.

At the beginning of  Baker’s day two testimony, conducted on October 18, 2018, Baker interrupted Representative Jim Jordan (R-OH) stating he wanted to amend the record of his day one testimony, thereby sidestepping a potential perjury charge.

Between day one of his interview two weeks earlier and day two,  Baker suddenly “remembered” that U.S. government contractor Dennis Montgomery had turned over to the FBI evidence in 2015 in the form of digital storage devices that, Montgomery asserted, proved that the U.S. government illegally surveilled American citizens and government officials.

Baker either lied or misspoke about which year Montgomery turned over evidence to the FBI, when he told the joint committee that Montgomery provided the evidence to the FBI in 2016, when in fact Montgomery had turned over the evidence in 2015, one full year earlier, before the 2016 presidential election.

Baker carefully stated: “To the best of my recollection, it’s in the late summer, early fall 2016.”  Baker misstated the year the FBI took possession of Montgomery’s evidence during day two of his interview. By carefully reciting that it was to the “best of his recollection” Baker neatly sidestepped a potential perjury charge.

Baker’s two-day interview, carried out on October 3 and October 18, 2018, was “part of a joint investigation by the House Committee on the Judiciary and the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform into decisions made and not made by the DOJ and the FBI regarding the 2016 Presidential election.”

Former FBI General Counsel James A. Baker buried evidence provided to his office in 2015 by CIA/NSA whistleblower Dennis Montgomery. Montgomery turned over 47 hard drives of evidence of domestic surveillance that prove the Obama administration illegally surveilled innocent Americans including Donald Trump for years.

The  FBI first granted limited immunity in August 2015, and then greater immunity in December of 2015 once Montgomery’s domestic surveillance information had been verified.

FBI General Counsel James Baker himself and DOJ Assistant U.S. Attorney Deborah Curtis struck Montgomery’s limited immunity agreements and then his greater immunity agreement, once the FBI had verified Montgomery’s information.

Mr. Baker. Well, a completely different case. Different attorney, different client, but insistent on meeting only with me or the Director. And then he did not have the material with him at the time. It was in the — to the best of my recollection, it was roughly in the late summer, fall of 2016 timeframe.

Mr. Jordan. Can you tell us the case?

Mr. Baker. It was Larry —

Mr. Baker. Can I give the name of the attorney?

Mr. Baker. Okay. The name of the attorney was Larry Klayman, and he also brought one of his associates with him whose name I don’t recall at this point in time, and it was on behalf of a particular client. Anyway, that’s what I recalled. And we were talking about that last time, and I did not remember that incident. Now I do.

Mr. Jordan. Okay. Thank you. Let’s go back to Mr. McCabe, Ms. Page, and —

Mr. Breitenbach. I’m sorry, Mr. Jordan. Can I just follow up?

Mr. Jordan. Sure.

Mr. Breitenbach. With regard to Mr. Klayman coming to visit you, was it with regard at all to surveillance concerns that he had concerning the general fact pattern that we’re here to discuss today?

Mr. Baker. Well, it had to do with surveillance. It had to do with an allegation about unlawful surveillance, but it was — I believe it was different from any fact pattern that we talked about last time here.

Mr. Breitenbach. Unlawful surveillance of whom?

Mr. Baker. Of Americans, including government officials. Yeah. I can go — I mean —

Mr. Jordan. Who was his client?

Mr. Baker. Can I just — I’m turning to the Bureau to describe this. So his client was an individual named Dennis Montgomery, who I believe, to the best of my recollection, he said that he had been a U.S. Government contractor and, in the course of that work, had come across evidence of unlawful surveillance by the government of Americans — and including government officials — and wanted to give that information to the Bureau, which eventually did take place.

Mr. Jordan. And was this — I’m sorry. Go ahead.

Mr. Sommers. During what time period?

Mr. Jordan. Yeah. That’s what I was going to ask.

Mr. Baker. To the best of my recollection, it’s in the late summer, early fall 2016.

Mr. Sommers. And the surveillance, what time period was that?

Mr. Baker. I’m not entirely sure what the timeframe was. It was a significant — it was — one of the issues in the case was it was a large amount of data that he had that he wanted to provide, that these — these disks or other media had a lot of data on them about this, allegedly.

Mr. Sommers. Surveillance by whom?

Mr. Baker. By the U.S. Government itself of Americans, unlawfully.

Mr. Jordan. Interesting. All right. Thank you. All right. Let’s go back to the McCabe-Page-Rosenstein meeting. When did you talk to Lisa Page and Andy McCabe about the meeting they had with Mr. Rosenstein?

US District Judge Richard Leon: ICIG Took Custody Of Montgomery Hard Drives And Testimony 

The American Report also previously reported in a December 18, 2020 article titled “STEALING AMERICA: ‘Former’ Communist Comey Got SCORECARD Election Hacking Source Code And Knew SolarWinds Was Not Secure: US District Court Judge Richard Leon Confirmed That ICIG Had Possession Of Montgomery’s Recorded Testimony And Hard Drives”:

According to a March 3, 2018 opinion by U.S. District Judge Richard J. Leon in the case DENNIS MONTGOMERY, et al., Plaintiffs, v. JAMES COMEY, Defendants:

At the status conference in this case, counsel for the Government defendants represented to this Court that the “hard drives are in a secure facility with the [I]ntelligence [C]ommunity’s Office of Inspector General” and that there was “no risk” that they were “going to be destroyed anytime soon”…

…Plaintiffs’ primary argument on this point is that, without preservation of the hard drives and the interview tapes, they “will lose the material evidence in this case.” Pls.’ Mot. 18. But as I have already explained, the Government has represented to this Court that there is a litigation hold preventing the destruction of either the hard drives or the interview tapes.

The Intelligence Community Inspector General from 2010 to 2018 was former FBI agent Irvin Charles “Chuck” McCullough III. McCullough, in that role, reported directly to Director of National Intelligence James Clapper. McCullough was also previously employed by the NSA Inspector General’s office.

“I enjoyed a very good relationship with Jim Clapper. We got along famously” McCullough told The Hill during a December 2018 interview. McCullough initially handled the Hillary Clinton email case before he handed it over to the FBI, where the case was handled by Peter Strzok.

This is the same James Clapper whom Montgomery claims illegally commandeered THE HAMMER, with John Brennan, and turned it against Barack Obama’s political enemies and the American people.

Maria Bartiromo, on the December 11, 2022 broadcast of her FOX News program Sunday Morning Futures, asked former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe about James Baker’s transition from FBI general counsel to Twitter deputy general counsel:

Jim Baker is someone you followed closely when he was the general counsel at the FBI. Walk us through what Jim Baker has been doing, and is it any coincidence at all after pushing his Russia collusion lie he gets the top general counsel job, or the deputy general counsel job, at Twitter, after being pushed out of the FBI?

Ratcliffe replied, “Well, I don’t think that’s a coincidence at all…I don’t think that Twitter just happened to, you know, find his resume on Monster.com.”

According to a January 17, 2021 report from The Epoch Times, subsequently covered by The Federalist Papers:

Director of National Intelligence (DNI) John Ratcliffe assessed that China interfered in the 2020 federal elections, according to a letter transmitted to Congress.

In the letter (pdf), Ratcliffe alleges that intelligence about China’s election interference was suppressed by management at the CIA, which pressured analysts to withdraw their support for the view.

Does James Baker really have the right to claim attorney-client privilege while testifying under oath before Congress, after exploiting his position as deputy general counsel at Twitter to act as a deity? To destroy evidence?  To give orders to violate the U. S. Constitution?  To censor American citizens?  To censure journalists? Who does James Baker think he is?  And who exactly is James Baker?

Translations from a Russian defense journal and from a secret Iranian military handbook suggest that Russia and Iran have developed a Pearl Harbor 2.0 plan to sink the entire U.S. Navy fleet as part of coordinated asymmetrical attacks against the United States and U.S. military bases around the world.

 

 

The Pentagon’s February 2, 2023 announcement that North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) is tracking the movements of a Chinese surveillance balloon that maneuvered over Montana, home to Malmstrom Air Force Base, is only the latest stark reminder that America’s adversaries are continuously developing and updating their war plans by studying the U.S. military’s nuclear triad of intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs), strategic air bombers, and ballistic missile submarines. Malmstrom Air Base houses Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs).

The prospect of the United State military being called up to defend America during a two-front war against Russia and China is a looming scenario that experts worry the Pentagon is underprepared for. “The Heritage Foundation’s 2023 Index of U.S. Military Strength found that the military is ‘weak’ and ‘at growing risk of not being able to meet the demands of defending America’s vital national interests,’” the Washington Examiner reported.

The plan is to launch Russian Kalibr cruise missiles from submarines, freighter ships, and Trojan Horse Club-K Container Missile System intermodal cargo “containers” that can be smuggled into U.S. ports and moved into the U.S. interior aboard trains and semi-trucks. In 2015 the Russian journal “Natsionalnaya Oborona” (translation: National Defense) outlined a plan to “hit them in their ports” with Kalibr cruise missiles that could sink entire US Navy fleets docked in ports across the United States, Europe, and the Middle East.

The journal published a paper, written by Aleksandr Mozgovoy, called “RUSSIAN NAVY’S LONG ARM:  KALIBR MISSILE FAMILY.” Mozgovoy writes (translated from Russian):

Thanks to the (Kalibr) cruise missiles, nuclear and conventional submarines will no longer have to change ship targets all over the ocean, but strike them in their ports, attacking from long ranges. They can now attack a wide range of land targets and from directions poorly protected by air defenses. This also applies to attacks on surface ships. In the near future, Russian submarines, missile boats, and surface ships will be able to hold at risk all important sites in Europe and in the Middle East. While the nuclear subs will have the US as their potential target…We believe that the idea of placing Kalibrs in standard 40-foot containers (the Kalibr-K system) installed on civilian ships, including riverine ones. Such concealed floating arsenals can operate on seas and rivers unnoticed.  Club-S export version is also enjoying success. It has been installed on more than twenty diesel-electric submarines delivered to Algeria, Vietnam, India, and China. Iranian sailors are casting covetous gazes at them.

The West clearly understands the power of the Kalibr system. Not for nothing did they name it the “Sizzler.”

Russia has been shifting to an asymmetrical cruise missile strategy by retrofitting Russian submarines and surface warship fleets with Kalibr cruise missiles and the Club K Container Missile Launch System. This information on the Kalibr retrofitting of Russia’s naval fleets was confirmed by a “high ranking Russia defense industry official” according to the U.S. Office of Naval Intelligence.

Russia is also equipping freighter ships and icebreakers near Alaska with the Club-K Container Missile System. Russia is selling the Club-K to America’s enemies. Iran has purchased the Club K missile launching system per Dr. Peter Vincent Pry, America’s foremost authority on ElectroMagnetic Pulse (EMP).

U.S. military bases along the coast are in range of Russian Kalibr cruise missiles that can be launched from submarines and freighters at sea, according to the CSIS Missile Defense Project.

Russia already “holds” most of Europe and the Middle East in range of Russian Kalibr cruise missiles, the same type of missile used in the Club-K Container Missile System, a map from the Office of Naval Intelligence reveals.

Additionally, Russia is building up military bases in the Arctic near Alaska, as revealed in a map from the office of U.S. Senator Dan Sullivan (R-AK).

 

EMP Commission dismantled by Obama holdovers as North Korea tested “Super EMP” capable hydrogen bomb

Foremost EMP expert Dr. Peter Vincent Pry wrote in Israel’s Arutz Sheva:

One nuclear warhead detonated at high-altitude over the United States would blackout the national electric grid and other life sustaining critical infrastructures for months or years by means of an electromagnetic pulse (EMP).  A nationwide blackout lasting one year, according to the Congressional EMP Commission, could cause chaos and starvation that leaves 90 percent of Americans dead.

Iranian military documents describe such a scenario — including a recently translated Iranian military textbook that endorses nuclear EMP attack against the United States.

Dr. Pry headed the Congressional EMP commision until it was dismantled by Obama administration holdovers in September 2017, just as North Korea was testing a hydrogen bomb that could be used in a super EMP attack.

“The people who sabotaged the EMP Commission, Obama holdovers, are still at the Department of Defense. They have not been replaced by the Trump administration. This is happening not just with the vitally important EMP Commission” Dr. Pry told World Net Daily. “They held back money for a whole year. They held back security clearances. They tried to stop the commission’s staff from working, arguing that ‘you need a contract in order to work for the EMP Commission.’ They wouldn’t even let me work, or other staff, pro-bono. The Declaration of North America (DNA), signed on January 10, 2023 by Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, President Joseph R. Biden, and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in Mexico City at the 10th North American Leaders’ Summit (NALS), is nothing short of a Declaration of War against the United States of America and her people.

Much like the architects of the Federal Reserve, during their secret 1910 meeting on Jekyll Island, Georgia, hatched a plan to deceptively hijack the U.S. dollar and the U.S. economy by establishing the Federal Reserve System, Biden, Obrador, and Trudeau have hatched a de-facto illegal treaty to surrender the sovereignty of the United States to foreign states Mexico and Canada. Exactly what World Economic Forum founder Klaus Schwab asked for.

According to the DNA statement posted on the White House website:

The leaders are determined to fortify our region’s security, prosperity, sustainability and inclusiveness through commitments across six pillars:

1) diversity, equity, and inclusion

2) climate change and the environment

3) competitiveness

4) migration and development

5) health; and

Following a meeting between the three leaders, Biden said: “In today’s interconnected world, we cannot wall ourselves off from shared problems. We are stronger and better when we work together, the three of us, and together we made enormous progress.”

Mexican Government And Cartels Deepening Ties With China’s CCP

While The U.S. Military Saved Europe And The World From The Axis Powers Germany And Japan, Mexico Only Sent One Military Unit Outside Mexico To Fight In World War II

During World War II, Mexico only sent one military unit, the 201st Fighter Squadron, which was trained in the United States, outside of Mexico to fight World War II in the Philippines. Although Mexican Americans fought in World War II as U.S. service members, the Mexican government never mobilized any Mexican military units during World War II outside of the 201st Fighter Squadron. Mexico only lost three pilots during combat.

“A declassified version of a classified report that the Intelligence Community provided to the President, senior Executive Branch officials, and Congressional leadership and intelligence oversight committees on 07 January 2021,” one the day after the so-called January 6th, 2021 ‘insurrection,’ the Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) “Foreign Threats to the 2020 US Federal Elections,” was withheld from the American public  until March 10, 2021 by outgoing Trump Administration Director of National Intelligence (DNI) John Ratcliffe and by incoming Biden Administration DNI Avril Haines.

In a bizarre example of Intelligence Community bureaucratic double-speak, deception, and omission, the Biden-Administration-released ICA Foreign Threats to the 2020 US Federal Elections states:

This Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA), as required by Executive Order (EO) 13848(1)(a), addresses key foreign actors’ intentions and efforts to influence or interfere with the 2020 US federal elections or to undermine public confidence in the US election process. It builds on analysis published throughout the election cycle and provided to Executive Branch and Congressional leaders. This ICA does not include an assessment of the impact foreign malign influence and interference activities may have had on the outcome of the 2020 election…

We did not identify China attempting to interfere with election infrastructure or provide funding to any candidates or parties.

The fact pattern that we presented in our reporting, in sharp contrast to the 2021 ICA Foreign Threats to the 2020 US Federal Elections, clearly established that China’s communist government and, often working through Chinese state-owned enterprises, used cyber operations and UNRESTRICTED WARFARE tactics to steal the 2020 U.S. election from President Donald Trump and transfer it to Beijing’s preferred candidate, Joe Biden:

Zulauf, IC Analytic Ombudsman, Office of the Director of National Intelligence, requesting an investigation into possible the politicization of U.S. intelligence. Zulauf, IC Analytic Ombudsman, Office of the Director of National Intelligence, on January 6, 2021, wrote a response letter and report to United States Senate Select Committee on Intelligence Acting Chairman Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Vice Chairman Mark Warner (D-VA). According to Dr. Zulaf’s January 6 letter, “China analysts appeared hesitant to assess Chinese actions as undue influence or interference. On Friday, January 8, 2021, the same day that the New York Times reported on the belated reports from Zulauf and DNI Ratcliffe, the Washington Post published its own skewed and highly partisan take on events titled “Political appointees, career analysts clashed over assessments of Russian, Chinese interference in 2020 election,” writing:

Citing Zulauf’s report, Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe, chosen for the position by Trump last year, charged Thursday that career analysts in a recently completed classified assessment failed to capture the full scope of Chinese government influence on the election — a charge that some current and former officials say illustrates the issue of politicization, because it downplays the much larger role of Russia.

Here we see the Washington Post once again hyping the hoax Trump Russian collusion conspiracy theory and protecting China’s CCP, just like they protected China and Joe Biden by covering up Hunter Biden’s ‘laptop from hell.’

The Washington Post continued with their propaganda narrative that protects the CCP, adding:

Current and former intelligence officials said analysts believe senior political officials are downplaying the Russia threat and hyping China’s role.

“The evidence shows that Russia is doing actual interference operations — not just running influence activities, like the Chinese mostly are,” one intelligence official said. “That’s the big issue now from the analysts’ perspective. The side we have to be most concerned about is the one that’s actually carrying out major operations.”

For more than two months following the November 3, 2020 U.S. election, President Donald Trump’s Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliff and Dr. Barry A. Zulauf, the Intelligence Community Analytic Ombudsman, Office of the Director of National Intelligence, failed to notify Congress and the American people that U.S. intelligence analysts who disapproved of President Trump intentionally held back intelligence that communist China interfered in the 2020 U.S. election contest between President Trump and Joe Biden.

Bloomberg reported on December 16, 2020:

President Donald Trump’s spy chief won’t meet Friday’s deadline to submit a classified report to Congress on foreign efforts to sway the Nov. 3 election, officials said, because of arguments within the intelligence community over whether China should be cited more prominently for its attempts to influence American voters…

…In response to a question on Ratcliffe’s office’s statement, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said on Thursday that “China and the U.S. should cooperate instead of confronting each other.”

“China never interferes in the internal affairs of other countries,” ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin told a briefing in Beijing. “This is our principle. For all the allegations that China interferes in the general election of the U.S. side, these are fabricated out of nothing.”

Zulauf failed to investigate and disclose these intelligence community failures regarding Chinese interference in the 2020 U.S. election until compelled to do so by the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.

By the time Zulauf belatedly issued his report, it was already too late: Conveniently, Joe Biden’s “win” had just been “certified” by Congress hours after the so-called January 6th, 2021 ‘insurrection.’

James Clapper was the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Director from November 1991 to August 1995.

Ana Belen Montes joined the DIA in September 1985 and was arrested for espionage on September 21, 2001. Montes was spying for Cuba.

This isn’t fringe stuff any more. Joe Biden’s seniormost intelligence backer, James Clapper, had sheltered Montes when he ran the DIA. Over the summer, Joe Biden considered Rep. Karen Bass (D-CA) as a semifinalist to run with him as vice president. Bass is considered a Cuban asset. For years she has helped the Cuban regime with its DGI-controlled Venceremos Brigade operation. As early as 1975, the Communist Party USA described Bass as “a leader of the Venceremos Brigade in Southern California.”

The fact that Biden would even consider a trusted Venceremos Brigade veteran to serve as his running mate shows how deeply Cuba’s political warfare has advanced into the American system. And it shows the willingness of Biden and his political allies to consider Cuban assets to win an election.

Thirty years ago today on March 31, 1987, Special Forces SSG Greg Fronius was killed in action in El Paraiso, El Salvador when guerrilla forces from the FMLN (Farabundo Marti National Liberation Front) attacked the Salvadoran base during an early morning attack…

…The 4th Brigade Headquarters in El Paraiso, 36 miles north of the capital of San Salvador had two American advisors assigned but at the time of the attack, Fronius was alone, his counterpart was in the capital getting some equipment and was scheduled to fly out in a helicopter the next day.

The guerrillas launched a coordinated assault beginning at 2 a.m. on the morning of March 31. They had concentrated mortar and rocket fire that targeted the major headquarters buildings. It was later learned that they were helped by DIA agent and double agent spy Ana Montes. Montes was considered an up and coming agent for DIA but in reality, she had defected and was spying for Cuba.

She visited the El Paraiso base just weeks before the attack and debriefed the Americans there, and later fed the information directly to her Cuban handlers who passed it on to the FMLN. She was directly implicated in Fronius’ death. She was not caught until her arrest in September 2001 just after the attacks of 9/11. She was sentenced to 25 years in prison in 2002…

Canadian MPs Investigating Canadian Intel Reports That China Interfered In Canada’s 2019 Election

Canada’s National Post Reported in a November 14, 2022 article titled “Alarming’: MPs to investigate China’s alleged 2019 election interference”:

MPs decided Monday to look into recent reports that China interfered in the 2019 Canadian election, as it remained unclear whether Prime Minister Justin Trudeau would raise the issue directly with the Chinese president.

The House of Commons procedure and house affairs committee voted Monday to call as witnesses Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly, the prime minister’s national security adviser and officials from Elections Canada and the Canadian Security Intelligence Service.

Global News first reported on Nov. 7 that intelligence officials had briefed the prime minister on a campaign of foreign interference from China, including funding at least 11 candidates in the 2019 federal election.

China also placed agents into MPs’ offices, tried to corrupt former Canadian officials, and put in place “aggressive campaigns” against politicians viewed as contrary to its interests, according to the Global News story. Trudeau and unidentified cabinet members were first briefed in January, Global said…

…On Monday, Conservative MP Michael Cooper introduced a motion on the new revelations at the House committee, which already has a more general study on foreign election interference underway. Cooper said “the briefings from CSIS are alarming in terms of the sophisticated campaign by the Chinese Communist regime to subvert Canadian democracy.”

Canada’s Global News reported in a December 21, 2022 article titled “Exclusive: 2020 intel warned Trudeau government that China’s interference in Canadian elections will likely be ‘pervasive’”:

An unredacted 2020 national security document alleges that Beijing used an extensive network of community groups to conceal the flow of funds between Chinese officials and Canadian members of an election interference network, all in an effort to advance its own political agenda in the 2019 federal contest.

The Privy Council Office document, which Global News has reviewed, is a distillation of sensitive investigations and was published in February 2020, around four months after the 2019 election. It warned that influence operations such as these were “likely to be more persistent and pervasive in future elections.”

According to the document, community leaders and “co-opted” political staffers “under broad guidance” from the Toronto consulate serve as intermediaries between Chinese officials and the politicians Beijing was seeking to influence.

The outcome of these operations, the document says, is that “staff of targeted politicians provide advice on China-related issues” to the Chinese consulate.

Other network operators handle financing and attempt to recruit Canadian politicians, the document said.

“The files show the FBI acting as doorman to a vast program of social media surveillance and censorship, encompassing agencies across the federal government – from the State Department to the Pentagon to the CIA,” Taibbi tweeted on December 24.

Taibbi revealed in another December 24 tweet that “One of the most common forums was a regular meeting of the multi-agency Foreign Influence Task Force (FITF), attended by spates of executives, FBI personnel, and – nearly always – one or two attendees marked ‘OGA.’”

“‘OGA, or ‘Other Government Organization,’ can be a euphemism for CIA, according to multiple former intelligence officials and contractors,” Taibbi explained in an earlier tweet from the same thread.

…None of you know who I am or what my background is, but if you look at my profile you can see I spent 23 years as a federal intelligence officer. I basically gave up my six-figure GS14 income … because I was sick of some of the things I was seeing in government. The answer to that question is Executive Order One, Two, Triple Three [12333].

So, if you want to get closer to the truth, look at Executive Order One, Two, Triple Three [12333].

It’s an executive order. It’s not a federal statute and all that. That is the primary document that governs intelligence collection. When you go from there and you read into it, look at the part that talks about collecting on U.S. persons. It’s U.S. citizens, anybody that works for a U.S. company, at home or abroad, anybody who is living within the United States. And then you look at where it talks about information freely given by a U.S. citizen. Well, shoot, that’s dang near everything posted on social media. It would be a person on social media posting that. So when digital talks about an illegal basis, I could see his point. An illegal standing. Because one is freely-given information that you’re putting out there. Two, the end-around to this is you are not supposed to collect or retain information on U.S. persons without the approval of the Attorney General. OK. I can tell you, having been in intelligence for 23 years, most of the stuff I know now, I did not know until I reached the GS14 level. I did not know until I worked certain operations and certain missions. Your average intelligence officer has no clue. They are out there, they’re doing their job protecting the country, believing all that, and in doing what they feel is right.

The minute you step outside that line, you are ostracized. I had my clearance, not taken away, but unable to renew it. You know, my TS/SCI. Basically, a code put on my records so that I can’t be hired again by the federal government because I stepped out of line. I called some stuff that, I’m like, “look, this isn’t right. Especially when I was asked directly by a governor to collect intelligence against protestors. Peaceful protestors. And when I refused because it’s a violation of civil rights and civil liberties, I was removed. I was basically ordered that I was going to be transferred up to DC to sit in a corner and color the See Something Say Something campaign.

You know, I’m like no. At this point in my career, I’m not going to go and basically screen gossip. Not doing that.

But look at Executive Order One, Two, Triple Three [12333]. When it talks about retaining information, where does the government retain most of their classified information anymore? You would think a government that’s so secretive, that wants to protect national security secrets, would keep it within the government, right?

Why is it going to Microsoft Azure? Why is it going to AWS [Amazon Web Services]? Why are they using those cloud platforms so heavily? Why? Why would they take that chance?

Because it’s not being hosted by the U.S. government. It’s not being collected by the U.S. government. How do you avoid, how do you end run around all these legal issues?

You buy data. You don’t collect it. You buy it. You buy it.  You store it on a cloud. You store it on a stand-alone system, so if the stand-alone system needs to disappear, it disappears.

And one of the frustrating things from my point of view is nobody seems to care. I don’t have a huge following. I’m not a well-known commentator or anything.

…Oregon Senator Ron Wyden (D-OR), who previously clashed with Brennan over the CIA’s illegal surveillance of Senate computers, is urging the FTC to investigate Neustar’s collection of DNS records from unsuspecting Americans and the subsequent transfer of those DNS records to a Department of Defense research project involving the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Wyden previously raised the alarm about Lynch’s update to EO 12333.

Bloomberg Law reported:

Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) is urging the Federal Trade Commission to investigate whether a digital security company misled consumers by reportedly selling Americans’ web browsing data to a Department of Defense-funded research project.

Neustar Security Services may have breached privacy promises in violation of US consumer protection law, Wyden wrote in a Thursday letter to FTC Chair Lina Khan.

The senator’s request for a probe reflects his ongoing concern that government agencies are bypassing legal requirements for search warrants by purchasing data that the private sector has collected on Americans’ online habits.

Senator Wyden previously clashed with John Brennan over the shocking discovery that the CIA under Brennan illegally spied on Senate computers.

I think there are any number of things they need to investigate, including the likelihood that three percent of the vote total was changed in the pre-election voting ballots that were collected digitally by using THE HAMMER program and a software program called SCORECARD. That would have amounted to a massive change in the vote that would have gone across the country and explains a lot of what we are seeing. In addition, they ran an algorithm to calculate votes they might need to come up with for Mr. Biden in specific areas. I think that explains what happened in Michigan, where the computer glitch resulted in a change of votes of about 5,500 in favor of President Trump just in one of 47 districts. All those districts need to be checked for that same quote “software glitch” end quote that would change the results in Michigan dramatically. The same thing is happening in other states. We’ve had hundreds of thousands of ballots mysteriously appear solely for Mr. Biden, which is statistically impossible as a matter of mathematics. It can all be documented. We are putting it into materials that we will file in federal court and we need to seek relief in multiple states to enjoin the certification of any election results.

LOU DOBBS:

Tom Fitton. As you listen to Sidney, that sounds like a strong case for a straightforward allegation of fraud. The two programs that she just mentioned [HAMMER and SCORECARD], I’m going to ask you right now, have you ever heard of them? Because I had not heard of them.

TOM FITTON:

I mean, there have been noises about it on the internet, but I don’t know anything beyond what Sidney’s reporting now…

LOU DOBBS:

Well Sidney, let’s go back to HAMMER and SCORECARD. Are those the names that you just used for those programs? What’s being done about it and how broadly were they used by vote counters in various states?

SIDNEY POWELL:

I think they were very broadly used, but not by the vote counters. They were used by the forces in the democratic operatives that had access to these programs through the government access points that they have and used it illegally to change votes in this country. It’s got to be investigated properly by the president’s trusted military intelligence officials who can get into the system and see what was done. But we do have some evidence that that is exactly what happened. And they’ve used it against other entities and other countries. It’s just been turned recently against our own citizens here to change election results. It’s absolutely appalling that that can be done. And whether it’s called “computer glitches” or something else, somebody has actually gone into the system and changed voting results.

LOU DOBBS:

That’s called intervention in our elections. Irrespective I guess, if they were Russia or China, we would refer to them as meddling. But it’s intervention, and it’s also crooked as hell, rigging this election, no matter the jurisdiction, whether it’s Michigan, Georgia, wherever it might be. What can we do about it, because the Department of Justice, I mean, if there is evidence of that program, why not just turn it over to the Justice Department and go to the courts and say “this has got to stop now, here is they way in which it was done”?

SIDNEY POWELL:

Well, we’ve been trying to get their attention and we’re going to try even harder and we’ll have to put it in the federal lawsuit, apparently, and get as much of it out as we possibly can. We have some excellent witnesses on the issue, but this is Coup 5.0 Lou.

The particularly eerie resemblance between fictional character Patrick Bateman, the well-to-do serial killer in the 2000 movie “American Psycho,” and Bryan Christopher Kohberger, the suspect arrested in the early morning hours of December 30, 2022 for the murders of four college students in Moscow, Idaho, certainly gives pause, as an example of life imitating art.

One wonders whether Kohberger, like the movie character Patrick Bateman, was trying on the mantle of the criminal mind by way of his undergraduate project. Or, did he simply relate?

The American Psycho character Patrick Bateman is depicted as being 27 years old at the beginning of the film, around the same age as Kohberger, who is 28.

In High School, Kohberger Turned ‘Aggressive’ Former Friend Says

According to the New York Post:

Nick Mcloughlin, of Pleasant Valley, Pennsylvania, told the Daily Beast he was appalled when he learned his high school buddy Bryan Christopher Kohberger was arrested Friday in connection to the brutal November slayings.

The two had been friends during their teenage years…

…But the relationship dissolved after Mcloughlin said Kohberger underwent a personality shift…

…Mcloughlin said Kohberger had been a “down to earth” and overweight teen when they wrapped up their junior year. When they started their senior year, Kohberger was “thinner than a rail” and developed an “aggressive” personality.

Kohberger also began picking up boxing lessons and was itching to put his new skills to use, according to his former friend.

“He always wanted to fight somebody, he was bullying people.”

The New York Post also reported:

A SWAT team entered the location in Pennsylvania where Kohberger, 28, was staying and took him into custody around 3 a.m. Friday, WPVI reported.

Police also seized a white Hyundai Elantra matching the description of a car police had being trying to locate and Kohberger’s DNA has also been matched to samples recovered at the scene of the deaths, according to CNN.

Fellow Criminology Graduate Student: Kohberger Was “Super Awkward”

According to Yahoo News and the Associated Press:

Ben Roberts, a graduate student in the criminology and criminal justice department at WSU, described Kohberger as confident and outgoing, but said it seemed like “he was always looking for a way to fit in.”

“It’s pretty out of left field,” he said of the news Friday. “I had honestly just pegged him as being super awkward.”

Roberts started the program in August — along with Kohberger, he said — and had several courses with him. He described Kohberger as wanting to appear academic.

“One thing he would always do, almost without fail, was find the most complicated way to explain something,” he said. “He had to make sure you knew that he knew it.”

The Daily Beast reported:

A former classmate at DeSales, who asked not to be named, said they got into a disagreement with Kohberger during an introductory biology class group project. While they didn’t remember the conversation, they recalled Kohberger as “very intelligent” and “well spoken” but “seemingly detached.”

“He was very leveled and somewhat imposing. There wasn’t much emotion displayed by him,” the classmate said, adding that he remembers Kohberger’s “intense stare.”

“He took care with how he spoke,” the person said.

According to The Daily Mail:

Bryan Christopher Kohberger, 28, has been charged with four counts of first-degree murder and one count of felony burglary – which he committed ‘with the intention to kill’ the University of Idaho students.

Moscow Chief of Police James Fry added that Kohberger was taken into custody by a SWAT team at a property in Albrightsville, Pennsylvania at 3am on Friday morning.

During a press conference on Friday authorities confirmed that a white Hyundai Elantra was discovered in the search – with sources saying it was towed from outside Kohberger’s home…

…Law enforcement sources told CNN that his DNA was discovered at the scene of the crime – with officers managing to track down who owned the car seen in the area of the slayings.

Let’s go to FBI retired criminal profiler and author of “[A] Journey to the Center of the Mind,” James Fitzgerald for his expert opinion.

James, you know, listen, I read some of these questions that Kohlberger had in his undergraduate research project. What do you make of that in light of his arrest today?

RETIRED FBI PROFILER JAMES FITZGERALD:

Sean, as soon as I heard those questions and read them earlier, it reminded me of the protocol of like 400 questions that we had back in the day as new profilers when we would go through our intensive training in Quantico, Virginia. Within a year or so, we would go out to the prisons and interview serial offenders and violent offenders. They’re convicted, they’re not going anywhere. There’s no deals offered. And we would ask them about 400 questions about how they committed crimes, why they committed crimes. Why they chose certain victims, why they didn’t choose other victims. And you know what? The questions I’ve seen so far in our subject’s, the questions he had prepared for his masters thesis, are very similar to those.

So, this guy obviously is intelligent, this guy has obviously done his research, and he wanted to get inside the mind of these people, but at the same time, perhaps he wasn’t getting all the answers from them himself, so he had to do it himself, commit this type of a crime, to truly answer those questions. And what a heinous way to go about doing your “research,” in this regard…

…So this guy wanted to kill someone. I am sure of that. And once he got more in the world of this whole criminal justice studies and how these prisoners think and operate, he somehow thought he could be one of them. But you know what? He thought he would be smarter. And you know what Sean? It reminds me from 99 years ago, before my time, but I’m certainly familiar with the history of the Leopold and Loeb case in Chicago. They were a couple of college students, thought they were smarter than law enforcement, and they went and kidnapped and killed a fourteen-year-old boy. There was a movie called “Rope” made in 1948, a Hitchcock movie, which captures that. The methodology is different, of course. But I think part of this is a guy who thinks he is smarter than the rest of us, certainly law enforcement, and that may be at least one of the factors which contributed to him committing this crime.

The All-American Murder Victims

The victims, Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Madison Mogen, 21, Ethan Chapin, 20, and Xana Kernodle, 20, were discovered stabbed to death inside a Moscow, Idaho off-campus home near the University of Idaho on November 13, 2022.

Kaylee Goncalves was born in Concord, California, moved with her family to North Idaho, and attended the University of Idaho where she “joined the Alpha Phi sorority and was studying to become an Elementary School teacher,” according to her obituary. “Kaylee was the ultimate go-getter and constantly wanted an adventure,” according to a family statement her sister shared with KREM2. Goncalves and Mogen grew up together, CBS News reported.

Madison Mogen was born in Eugene, Oregon and “then moved with her family back to the North Idaho area her parents grew up in,” according to her obituary. “Maddie was so excited to attend the University of Idaho, a little far from home but not too far. Once there, Maddie made the Dean’s List every semester. She joined Pi Beta Phi and met some of her closest friends, all the while having her [sorority] sister Kaylee close by, and the love of her life, Jake.”

Ethan Chapin was born in Seattle. Ethan “played soccer, basketball and ran cross country,” according to his obituary. During tulip season, Ethan worked at Tulip Town in Mount Vernon, Washington. He also worked at Hills Resort in Idaho during the summertime. At the University of Idaho, Ethan joined Sigma Chi with his triplet brother Hunter. Ethan’s triplet sister Maizie joined the University of Idaho’s Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. Ethan also enjoyed golf, surfing, and playing pickle ball or sand volleyball.

“Xana Kernodle of Post Falls, Idaho…was a talented gymnast as a child…attended Post Falls Middle and High School, where she played volleyball, track and soccer,” according to her obituary. “During high school she worked at Texas Roadhouse and went on to attend the University of Idaho…was an active member of Pi Beta Phi sorority”…worked “at her part-time job at Mad Greek Restaurant in Moscow, Idaho” and “loved her dog, Shoeshine.”

“Madison Mogen and Xana Kernodle were servers at Mad Greek restaurant in Moscow,” KREM2 reported.

Coroner: Students Were Stabbed More Than Once, Sustained Defensive Wounds

Latah County Coroner Cathy Mabbutt said the size and depth of the wounds indicated a large knife was used. If another weapon was used, it was similar to a large knife, she said. All four deaths were classified as homicides.

Mabbutt said the students were stabbed more than once and may have sustained defensive wounds. There were no indications of sexual assault.

Who was on President Obama’s White House Intelligence Advisory Board in 2009, the year when, according to CIA contractor-turned-whistleblower Dennis Montgomery, President Obama, with John Brennan and James Clapper, commandeered the super surveillance system known as THE HAMMER and moved it to Fort Washington, Maryland to spy on Obama’s political enemies?

As revealed in the American Report’s March 17, 2017 exposé “Whistleblower Tapes: Trump Wiretapped ‘A Zillion Times’ By ‘THE HAMMER,’ Brennan’s and Clapper’s Secret Computer System,” one of the audio tapes released by U.S. District Judge G. Murray Snow’s courtroom divulged that Brennan and Clapper wiretapped Donald Trump a “zillion times.”

President Obama’s White House Intelligence Advisory Board included, among others, a Kissinger Associates executive, Iran nuclear deal negotiator Wendy Sherman, and Obama’s CIA General Counsel.

In the spring of 2016, as Donald Trump heavily campaigned for president, President Obama selected Stephen Preston and Wendy Sherman to join Obama’s White House Intelligence Board, according to an April 11, 2016 ExecutiveGov report titled “Stephen Preston, Wendy Sherman to Join White House Intelligence Advisory Board.”

The co-chair of Obama’s White House Intelligence Advisory Board was Kissinger Associates executive Judith A. “Jami” Miscik.

Miscik became Vice-Chair and President of Kissinger Associates after first serving as CIA Deputy Director of Intelligence and then as Global Head of Sovereign Risk for Wall Street investment bank Lehman Brothers. Lehman Brothers collapsed in 2008, during Miscik’s tenure at the firm. Miscik has also served on the board of CIA-connected venture capital firm In-Q-Tel that funds the development of advanced CIA espionage technologies and tools.

President Obama’s CIA Director John Brennan served as a senior adviser at Kissinger Associates, Incorporated.

Wendy Sherman, a far left former Baltimore social worker who somehow ended up in the U.S. State Department, also served on President Obama’s White House Intelligence Advisory Board.

Wendy Sherman, currently a senior Biden State Department official, has close ties to China’s proxy communist regime North Korea.

Also serving on President Obama’s White House Intelligence Advisory Counsel was Stephen Preston.

Attorney Stephen W. Preston served under President Obama as CIA General Counsel from July 2009 to October 2013 and Department of Defense General Counsel from October 2013 to 2016. Early in his legal career, Preston joined Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP.  In 2016, Preston returned to WilmerHale.

Former FBI Director Robert Mueller has been a partner at WilmerHale. According to CIA contractor-turned-whistleblower Dennis Montgomery, FBI Director Mueller provided the computers for THE HAMMER.

“Special Collection Techniques”

According to The CIA’s Updated Executive Order 12333 Attorney General Guidelines (emphasis added), Issued by President Obama’s Attorney General Loretta Lynch two days before President Trump’s January 2017 innauguration:

The use of special collection techniques is highly restricted. A special collection technique is any technique that would require a warrant if the technique were used in the United States for law enforcement purposes. Electronic surveillance or a search of a home or office are examples of special collection techniques. With narrowly defined exceptions regarding testing and training, the CIA may not use special collection techniques in the United States. The CIA is, however, permitted to ask another federal agency to perform special collection techniques in the United States under that agency’s legal authorities. The CIA may also provide technical equipment or knowledge to another federal agency in conducting authorized special collection in the United States with the approval of the CIA’s General Counsel. The CIA may conduct special techniques outside the United States that target a United States person only with the approval of the Director of the CIA (or his designee), the CIA General Counsel, the Attorney General, and (where applicable) the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court.

How convenient.

The phrase “special collection techniques” does not appear in the original Executive Order 12333, issued on December 4, 1981. The phrase “special collection techniques” only appears in The CIA’s Updated Executive Order 12333 Attorney General Guidelines, issued by President Obama’s Attorney General Loretta Lynch and Obama’s CIA Director John Brennan two days before President Trump’s inauguration.

On January 18, 2017, just two days before President Donald Trump’s inauguration, President Obama’s Attorney General Loretta Lynch and Obama’s CIA Director John Brennan suddenly issued the CIA’s Updated Executive Order 12333 Attorney General Guidelines. Executive Order 12333 was initially issued in 1981.

The CIA’s Updated Executive Order 12333 Attorney General Guidelines were brought into focus on Thursday, February 10, 2022 when the Associated Press reported that U.S. Senators Ron Wyden (D-OR) and Martin Heinrich (D-NM) of the Senate Intelligence Committee wrote a classified April 13, 2021 letter to senior Biden Administration intelligence officials requesting declassification of the Deep Dive II report on illegal CIA bulk collection surveillance data about Americans.

According to CIA contractor-turned-whistleblower Dennis Montgomery, Obama’s intelligence officials John Brennan and James Comey commandeered the powerful foreign surveillance system known as THE HAMMER, originally intended for overseas espionage to spy on terrorists and other U.S. adversaries operating overseas, and instead turned THE HAMMER against the American people, turning the United States into a communist Stasi-style surveillance police state.

New York University’s Just Security wrote on January 18, 2017:

In acknowledgment of the mass scale of modern electronic intelligence collection, the Central Intelligence Agency today released newly updated guidelines governing how it treats Americans’ data that are swept up in the agency’s overseas espionage efforts conducted under Executive Order 12333.

Was THE HAMMER a “special collection technique” used by the FBI at the behest of Obama’s CIA? This would explain the reported presence of both CIA and FBI personnel at Fort Washington, Maryland.

This would dovetail with communist-voting John Brennan’s reference on MSNBC to a “fusion center.”

John Brennan’s ‘Fusion Center’

On August 17, 2018, on MSNBC, where John Brennan is a national security and intelligence analyst, Brennan told Rachel Maddow “we put together a Fusion Center at CIA that brought NSA and FBI officers together with CIA to make sure that those proverbial dots would be connected.”

Yet, those intelligence agencies are separate and have unique charters for good reason.

Whistleblower Dennis Montgomery has a different, and far more disturbing, version of events that contradict John Brennan’s “Fusion Center” fable.

On February 3, 2009, Brennan and Clapper commandeered the powerful foreign surveillance tool known as “THE HAMMER” and turned it against America for the purpose of “blackmail” and “leverage.”

Brennan and Clapper took “THE HAMMER,” the Montgomery-designed-and-built supercomputer system that had previously served as a foreign surveillance tool and that was once located at eTreppid Technologies in Reno and later at Blixware in Washington state, and relocated it on February 3, 2009 to a CIA facility in Fort Washington, Maryland.

At the Fort Washington Facility, Brennan and Clapper transformed “THE HAMMER” into a domestic surveillance tool and began targeting President Obama’s political enemies.

Brennan’s fabricated “Fusion Center” cover story will likely fall apart just as the Trump Russian Collusion hoax fell apart, like a house of cards.

What exactly does Nuestar do? Foreign Policy explained in January 2014:

President Obama announced on Friday that a huge database of all Americans’ phone records will be moved out of the National Security Agency, where it’s currently stored, and kept either with phone companies or a third party. “This will not be simple,” Obama warned. Who would want, or even be capable of such a job?

If you’ve ever changed cell phone carriers and wanted to keep your old phone number, Neustar “ported” it over for you from one carrier to another. To do that, it keeps a record of all cell phone numbers in the United States. The company also acts as a kind of middleman between law enforcement agencies serving surveillance warrants on telephone companies, ensuring that the companies only give over the amount of information they’re legally required to disclose. 

MeriTalk reported in an August 15, 2016 report titled “FCC Deal With Foreign-Owned Company Raises Security, Transparency Concerns“:

The Federal Communications Commission gave final approval for Telcordia, a subsidiary of the Swedish company Ericsson, to be the next Local Number Portability Administrator (LNPA), despite protests from the current LNPA that the FCC ignored national security implications and withheld information when choosing a new company…

…Neustar … has been in charge of routing calls and texts for 650 million U.S. and Canadian phone numbers for more than 2,000 carriers since 1997 when the job began…

The LNPA [Local Number Portability Administrator] was established so that consumers could keep their phone number when changing carriers.

The Number Portability Administration Center (NPAC) requires the company that oversees it to keep phone data secure because the Federal Bureau of Investigation and other law enforcement agencies look into the database 4 million times a year to gain information for criminal and intelligence investigations. The concern is that other countries could hack into the database to find out who the U.S. government is wiretapping. Another concern is that a hacker could get into the database and severely slow down the routing of calls, which could have serious consequences in the event of a national emergency.

Neustar was acquired by TransUnion in 2021.

Senator Ron Wyden Alarmed By AG Lynch’s Update To Executive Order 12333, John Brennan’s CIA Operation To Spy On US Senate Computers, And Neustar’s Sale Of DNS Data To DoD

Oregon Senator Ron Wyden (D-OR), who previously clashed with Brennan over the CIA’s illegal surveillance of Senate computers, is urging the FTC to investigate Neustar’s collection of DNS records from unsuspecting Americans and the subsequent transfer of those DNS records to a Department of Defense research project involving the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Wyden previously raised the alarm about Lynch’s update to EO 12333.

Bloomberg Law reported:

Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) is urging the Federal Trade Commission to investigate whether a digital security company misled consumers by reportedly selling Americans’ web browsing data to a Department of Defense-funded research project.

Neustar Security Services may have breached privacy promises in violation of US consumer protection law, Wyden wrote in a Thursday letter to FTC Chair Lina Khan.

The senator’s request for a probe reflects his ongoing concern that government agencies are bypassing legal requirements for search warrants by purchasing data that the private sector has collected on Americans’ online habits.

Senator Wyden previously clashed with John Brennan over the shocking discovery that the CIA under Brennan illegally spied on Senate computers.
