Barack Obama’s Murky Connections To Iraqi Electric Power Plants Span The Globe: From Chicago, To Baghdad, To The United Arab Emirates, To Moscow, To Port Canaveral
Barack Obama is entangled with the corrupt world of Iraqi electric power plant construction via at multiple connections:
- Wahid Hamid, a Pakistani-born foreign student who was close friends with Barack Obama during Obama’s days at Occidental College and who spent time with Obama in Pakistan in the 1980s, was a managing partner at the now-collapsed Middle Eastern private equity firmTHE ABRAAJ GROUP. Hamid Dhia Jafar, the Iraqi co-owner of UAE-based ports company GULFTAINER, is a founding shareholder of THE ABRAAJ GROUP.
- The Iraqi Jafar family’s GULFTAINER affiliates CRESCENT INVESTMENTS and URUK, the electric power plant construction contractor co-owned by Hamid Dhia Jafar and his brother and business partner Dr. Jafar Dhia Jafar, Saddam Hussein’s nuclear weapons mastermind, partnered with Russian electric power exporter and power station builder INTER RAO. INTER RAO’s chairman of the board was Putin’s long-time deputy Igor Sechin, a former KGB agent known as Russia’s Darth Vader. CRESCENT INVESTMENTS and URUK entered into a power plant strategic cooperation deal with INTER RAO.
- Igor Sechin’s Russian energy company ROSNEFT entered into an energy deal with GULFTAINER affiliate CRESCENT PETROLEUM.
- Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden brokered a $9 billion energy deal between Igor Sechin’s ROSNEFT and Chinese energy company CEFC, which was linked to Chinese intelligence. Hunter Biden was “an unofficial back channel undercover emissary” who engaged in dark ‘diplomacy/espionage’ on behalf of his father Vice President Joe Biden and President Barack Obama.
- Barack Obama’s corrupt Chicago associates Tony Rezko (an associate of Iraqi-British billionaire Nadhmi Auchi) and former Iraqi Minister of Electricity Aiham Alsammarae. Rezko and Alsammarae were involved in a scheme to build a $150 million electric power plant in Iraq.
- Barack Obama (with Joe Biden) placed GULFTAINER inside the wire at Florida’s Port Canaveral, adjacent to Canaveral Air Force Station (Renamed Canaveral Space Force Station), The US Navy’s Trident Turning basin that hosts nuclear-powered submarines armed with Trident ballistic missiles carrying nuclear warheads, and NASA’s Kennedy Space Center
CHICAGO TO BAGHDAD: Barack Obama’s Corrupt Chicago Associate Tony Rezko’s $150M Shady Deal To Build Electric Power Plant In Iraq

Barack Obama and his stay-behind network that controls the Biden regime have been connected for years to the Chicago-Middle Eastern crime network of Tony Rezko.
On July 29, 2005, Crain’s Chicago Business, in an article titled “Rezko firm wins $150M Iraqi power plant deal,” reported that “Rezmar Corp., a real estate development company controlled by Tony Rezko, a controversial confidant of Gov. Rod Blagojevich, entered into a joint venture with a British firm in a $150-million deal to build a power plant in Iraq.”
“In 2006, then a Senator from Illinois, Obama traveled to Iraq to meet with Iraqi reconstruction officials,” we previously wrote in our December 14, 2016 occasional paper “WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG: SECRET DEAL ALLOWS COMPANY TIED TO SADDAM’S NUCLEAR BOMBMAKER, IRAN AND U.A.E. TO MANAGE KEY FLORIDA PORT FACILITIES”
On December 3, 2006, UPI reported that:
Federal authorities are looking into an Iraqi power plant deal involving one of Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich’s top fundraisers.
The Chicago Sun-Times reported that Antoin ‘Tony’ Rezko is believed to have been defrauding Illinois taxpayers. Investigators want to talk with Aiham Alsammarae, Iraq’s jailed former electricity minister, on how Rezko landed the lucrative contract.
Rezko was also involved in the crooked real estate deal that put Barack and Michelle Obama into a luxurious Chicago mansion.
It was during Barack Obama’s time in Chicago, before he became president, and as he rose to become a star of the democratic party machine, that his shady Middle Eastern connections began to draw unwanted attention to Obama’s political ambitions.
Perhaps the most interesting of them all is a character named Nadhmi Auchi.
The Sunday Times reported in a February 1, 2008 article titled “Obama bagman is sent to jail after failing to declare $3.5m payment by British tycoon”:
An undeclared $3.5 million (£1.8 million) payment from a Iraqi-British businessman has landed Barack Obama’s former fundraiser behind bars.
The payment, disclosed in court papers, is the first time that Mr Obama’s long-serving bagman Antoin “Tony” Rezko, a Syrian immigrant to the United States, has been linked to Nadhmi Auchi, the Iraqi-born billionaire who is one of Britain’s richest men.
Court papers describe Mr Rezko as a close friend of Mr Auchi, although Mr Auchi disputes this. The two are involved in a large Chicago land development together. But it is unclear how long the two men have known each other…
John A. Shaw, a “former senior official of the Defense, State, and Commerce departments,” who “served on several White House staffs,” who “was a specialist in international technology transfer and arms sales, and in the economic development of the Middle East,” wrote in October 2008 (archived at WikiLeaks):
My office had two key responsibilities, international technology security and international arms and technology trade (essentially keeping good things out of the hands of bad people), with the latter function given the reach of the DoD Inspector General’s office. Our investigations surfaced some salient facts about Nadhmi Auchi and his underreported activities: that Auchi had been Saddam Hussein’s senior arms dealer and had morphed into his principal international financial bagman, and had become the Godfather of the UN Oil for Food scheme. (As a former State Department Inspector General overseeing all US foreign assistance and foreign military sales, I had had thirty years experience dealing with technology and armament sales, most of it in the Middle East.)
But Rezko was only a middle man who could connect Obama to far more powerful Middle Eastern power brokers like Nadmhi Auchi.
Obama’s Iraqi patron Auchi, along with Hamid Dhia Jafar’s ‘Oil-for-Superweapons’ partner General Dr. Amir Al-Saadi, were named in a lawsuit stemming from the 1988 Halabja chemical weapons massacre in which Saddam Hussein gassed his own people.
Over a span of many years, the Biden-Obama regime has been connected to Moscow, the CCP, and elements of Saddam’s Hussein’s brutal regime.
GULFTAINER CONNECTION TO IRAQI ELECTRIC POWER PLANTS: Dr. Jafar Dhia Jafar Not Only Built Nuclear Bombs For Saddam Hussein, He Also Built Iraqi Electric Power Plants And Partnered With Russia’s Electricity Exporter And Power Plant Builder InterRAO
Readers who have been following our work over the better part of a decade know that Dr. Jafar Dhia Jafar is the rogue Iraqi nuclear scientist who was Saddam Hussein’s nuclear mastermind and is the brother and business partner of Gulftainer co-owner Hamid Dhia Jafar.
We have written about Dr. Jafar Dhia Jafar’s less-well-known work as the builder and rebuilder of Iraqi electric power plants. It was Dr. Jafar Dhia Jafar who led Saddam Hussein’s efforts to rebuild Iraq’s power plants and electric grid following the Gulf War and the U.S. military’s Operation Desert Storm.
Those power plants have served a dual purpose: to provide electricity to the Iraqi civilian population, and to covertly power Dr. Jafar’s well-hidden uranium enrichment facilities in support of Dr. Jafar’s and Saddam Hussein’s Iraqi nuclear weapons program.
Hunter Biden Brokered Energy Deals Between China And Russia
It is difficult to imagine a national security nightmare more dire than the current situation in which former Vice President Joe Biden secretly carried on business relationships via his son Hunter Biden with America’s most formidable adversaries, including Chinese Communist Party (CCP) intelligence agents from CEFC energy and Vladimir Putin’s “former” KGB oligarch comrades Igor Sechin, CEO of ROSNEFT and Sergey Chemizov, CEO of Russia’s state-owned ROSTEC and former CEO of ROSOBORONEXPORT.
Joe Biden seized control of the White House by way of the stolen 2020 election.
According to an Iraqi government letter seized by the FBI during the bureau’s raid of the Atlanta branch of Italy’s Banca Nazionale del Lavoro, Dr. Jafar Dhia Jafar’s brother and business partner Hamid Dhia Jafar was involved with Iraqi General Dr. Amir al-Saadi in Saddam’s ‘Oil-for-Superweapons’ program that was meant to fund Saddam’s and Dr. Jafar’s WMD programs.
Dr. Jafar Dhia Jafar is the creator of Iraq’s miniaturized nuclear weapon known as “Beach Ball,” Saddam Hussein’s ‘Arab Bomb.’ According to CIA contractor-turned whistleblower Dennis Montgomery, seventeen “Beach Ball” devices were recovered from Baghdad.
Dr. Jafar Dhia Jafar’s nuclear weapons advisor and accomplice was Yevgeny Primakov, former Russian Prime Minister, KGB spymaster, and for years, the Kremlin’s top expert on Middle East affairs and architect of the ‘Islamic Bloc,’ as conceived by Russia. Primakov’s original family name was “Finkelstein.” Primakov was known as Russia ‘Bear in the Desert.”
‘Russia’s Darth Vader’ Former KGB Operative Igor Sechin Was Appointed Chairman Of The Board At InterRAO, The Russian Electric Power Exporter That Partnered With Iraqi Power Plant Builder And Nuclear Physicist Dr. Jafar Dhia Jafar
ROSTEC’s wholly-owned subsidiary ROSOBORONEXPORT exports Russia’s Trojan Horse CLUB-K Container Missile System, a missiles-in-a-box advanced weapons system that looks identical to any commercial intermodal shipping container like those moved around the globe aboard ships, trains, and trucks, but launches Russian Kalibr cruise missiles cable of sinking aircraft carriers and delivering nuclear, EMP, chemical, biological, and conventional payloads at up to supersonic speeds.
Chemezov’s ROSTEC is the Russian business partner of the Iraqi Jafar family’s UAE-based GULFTAINER ports company. Obama and Biden awarded GULFTAINER with a 35-year lease at Florida’s Port Canaveral.
Russian Oligarch Igor Sechin Oversaw Both ROSNEFT And InterRAO, Both Russian Enterprises In Business Deals With GULFTAINER Affiliates Run By The Iraqi Jafar Family
Sechin, known as “Russia’s Darth Vader” and “the scariest person on earth,” is the Russian business partner of GULFTAINER affiliate CRESCENT PETROLEUM, and served as chairman of the board of Inter RAO. Inter RAO UES is the Russian electricity exporter and power plant operator active across Russia and eastern Europe that entered into a strategic partnership with GULFTAINER affiliate CRESCENT INVESTMENTS and with Dr. Jafar Dhia Jafar’s power plant engineering and construction outfit known as URUK, presumably named after the ancient Iraqi city of Uruk.
It comes as no surprise that Biden is on the verge of releasing Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout, the “merchant of death” and convicted terrorist who was provided with an airbase by Sharjah ruler Al Qasimi, the co-owner of GULFTAINER, into the open arms of his boss Putin. Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov visited Bout on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Federal Prison Marion, Illinois, Yahoo! News reported.
We have written about Dr. Jafar’s connections to Unit 999, the Iraqi Special Operation Group that many senior U.S. intelligence and defense officials have for years suspected of being at the operational center of the 1993 Oklahoma City bombing plot that leveled the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building and destroyed documents belonging to the CIA and other federal agencies.
In 2003, the Pentagon placed Dr. Jafar Dhia Jafar on CENTCOM’s Operation Iraqi Freedom BLACKLIST of Saddam Hussein regime officials wanted for capture or kill by Coalition Forces.
Astoundingly, following the Pentagon’s BLACKLISTED target (wanted for capture or kill) Dr. Jafar Dhia Jafar’s capture by U.S. military forces, intense questioning by Western intelligence officials, and his subsequent release, Jafar went on to help build and rebuild more Iraqi power plants.

2003 IRAQ WAR: DR. JAFAR FLEES COALITION FORCES THEN SURRENDERS
In 2003, Dr. Jafar fled Baghdad as coalition forces closed in on him and fellow Iraqi WMD experts “Dr. Germ” and “Chemical Ali.” Dr. Jafar eventually surrendered and underwent extensive interrogation by the CIA and MI6.
David Kay was a U.N. weapons inspector in Iraq from 1991 – 1992 and later returned to Iraq after the 2003 U.S. invasion to assist the CIA and the U.S. military in again searching for WMDs.
During Kay’s 1990s U.N. inspection mission, Dr. Jafar reportedly stunned Kay and his weapons inspection team with a seemingly impromptu demonstration of his memorized mastery of nuclear weapons design, according to an account in the book “Brighter than the Baghdad Sun: Saddam Hussein’s Nuclear Threat to the United States”:
One night as (David) Kay was packing up his papers at the end of another frustrating session, Jaffar suddenly blurted out, ‘Of course if we had wanted to build a nuclear bomb we’re smart enough to do it.’
Jaffar sat down, pulled out a sheet of paper and started to show Kay how to build a bomb.
First Jaffar listed the steps in the design and manufacture and then described the technical hurdles and how he would conquer them. For two hours he didn’t stop. He drew sketches of explosive lenses, of how to shape the nuclear core and how to get the enriched uranium. At the end Jaffar just smiled and walked out.
Kay was speechless, as was the rest of his team.
‘Why did Jaffar as good as tell us that he has built a damn bomb?’ one team member asked when they were back at their hotel.
Kay claims that on the last day of Dr. Jafar’s debriefing Jafar told him:
“You can bomb our buildings. You can destroy our technology. But you cannot take it out of our heads. We now have the capability.”
Former Romanian Foreign Intelligence Service Chief General Ion Mihai Pacepa, the former Eastern Block’s highest-ranking defector and a longtime U.S. intelligence asset, wrote in a now-scubbed essay at PJ Media in 2018 “To a knowledgeable eye, Obama’s actions suggest he might have had some intelligence connection with the Kremlin, such as Whittaker Chambers once had.”
